The Fulton Area was identified as part of one of the top 12 neighbohoods in America that are "exceptionally successful in combining the arts, artists, and venues for creativity and expression with independent businesses, restaurants, and a walkable lifestyle to make vibrant neighborhoods." NEXT FAB FRIDAY:  A 5-hour Music Festival on Friday, June 21, 2013 - as part of MakeMusic NY -  at Cuyler-Gore Park, Fulton Street and Greene Avenue. 3-8pm.

Over 35 community partners have come together to bring 12 free live outdoor concerts and arts and crafts activities for kids to Fulton Street's public spaces this Spring and Summer!
Concepts and ideas for enhancing the public spaces of Fulton Street and its street scape, including its pocket parks, wide sidewalks, underutlized traffic triangles, vacant and underutilized lots and more are in the draft FULTON STREET VISION PLAN now available online. Courtesy the non-profit organization desigNYC and the work of three architecture firms working on a pro-bono basis and guided by community input.
Fulton Street restaurants, bars, shops and other businesses are just 2 blocks from the new arena - with the new hot spots in Clinton Hill near Clinton/Washington and the Putnam Triangle Plaza just a short walk or quick ride along Fulton on the B25 or B26.
