The NY Times Food Section "$25 and Under" column weighs in on Fulton Street's BUKA / NEW YORK with kudos for its Nigerian classics, including a "hearty goat stew ($9)", "ground ogbono pods", and "grilled beef dusted with suya ($5)" in an environment on FULTON STREET that is "airy and inviting".

BUKA is located on Fulton Street in Clinton Hill at Cambridge Place, at the PUTNAM TRIANGLE, home to several new bars, cafes and restaurants, including the recently opened HILL CAFE, MAGO CREPERIE, FULTON GRAND PUB, HANSON DRY BAR and BROOKLYN VICTORY GARDEN. Plus, the West African cuisine of JOLOFF RESTAURANT and delectable pastries and architectural sandwiches created by DESSERTS BY MICHAEL ALLEN.
